Blue Lock Season 2 Exact Release Date And Episode Count Officially Revealed!
Additionally, two new characters were revealed to be added to season 2.
The official website of Blue Lock unveiled THE INFORMATION fans have been waiting for! Blue Lock Season 2 will officially begin airing on Oct 5, 2024! A new key visual was uploaded while unveiling this news.
It was revealed in May that Season 2 will debut sometime in Oct 2024.
Blue Lock Season 2 is confirmed to have a total of 14 episodes, 10 episodes less than Season 1, which aired from Oct 9, 2022, to Mar 26, 2023.

Additionally, two new characters were revealed to be added to season 2. They are:
Oliver Aiku (Voiced by Satoshi Hino)
Oliver is the captain of the U-20 Japan national team, known as the “Diamond Generation” for its ironclad defense and abundant talent. Positioned as a center back, he is the key player in the national team’s defense. A mix of Sweden, Germany, and Japan. His defensive techniques, physical strength, leadership, and all other abilities are outstanding among his generation, and he is attracting attention as one of the players who will lead the next generation of Japan’s national team.
Sendo Shu-to (Voiced by Akihisa Wakayama)
Sendo is the ace of the U-20 Japan national team. Position: center forward. His trademark is his two-block haircut and asymmetrical bangs. He is a highly skilled player who has played as a regular forward in the first division of the Japanese domestic league at a young age. His teammates have a lot of faith in him and he is the team’s leading scorer in national team competition.

Blue Lock is a Football manga series written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since August 2018, with its chapters collected in 28 tankōbon volumes as of March 2024.
In October 2022 to March 2023, an anime television series adaptation created by Eight Bit was broadcast. A forthcoming anime film adaptation, derived from the Episode Nagi manga, is scheduled to make its debut in April 2024. The confirmation of a second season has been made as well.
