One Punch Man Chapter 201 Release Delayed Due To Unknown Reasons

Fans are eagerly waiting for Chapter 201 to drop, as it might be the last chapter of the re-draws before Murata covers new material!

One Punch Man artist Yusuke Murata announced, on June 12, 2024, that the Chapter 201 re-draw release date is postponed to June 20 (Thursday) due to reasons not revealed by the artist himself.

The translation of the above Tweet goes as follows:

“Sorry for keeping you waiting. The next update for the Tona Jump version of One Punch Man is scheduled for next week on the 20th (Thursday). Sorry for the inconvenience, but please wait a little longer.”

The last chapter One Punch Man dropped was chapter 200 (titled Void) on Mar 30. Despite the delay, fans are eagerly waiting for One Punch Man chapter 201 to drop, as this might be the last chapter of the re-draws before Murata covers new material from chapter 202!

Recently, in March, Yusuke Murata decided to redraw the Ninja Village arc, stating that he wasn’t satisfied with his initial direction

About One Punch Man:

One-Punch Man is a Japanese superhero manga series created by One. A digital manga remake, illustrated by Yusuke Murata, began publication on Shueisha’s Tonari no Young Jump website in June 2012. Its chapters are periodically compiled and published into individual tankōbon volumes. As of March 2024, 30 volumes have been released.

Manga received an anime adaptation by Madhouse. The anime aired from Oct 5 2015 to Dec 21 2015 with 12 episodes. The second season of the anime aired from April 10 2019 to Jul 3 2019 with 12 episodes.

The third season of the anime has CONFIRMED to be in production, but no release date has been shared yet.
