Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chapter 9 Spoilers: Kurama Is Back??!
Boruto faces Kawaki, Jura brings Team 10 to their knees and the most shocking update of all, Kurama is still alive inside Himawari??!!
The spoilers for chapter 9 of the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga are here, and it looks like we’ll be getting a PACKED chapter after so long! And a controversial one though…
Boruto faces Kawaki, Jura brings Team 10 to their knees and the most shocking update of all, Kurama is still alive inside Himawari??!!
Now, before you call Boruto a Disney series, this is probably a different Kurama than the one we love and cherish. Sure, it has the same nine-tails and all, but don’t forget that Kurama died, leaving him to burn all his chakra away to keep Naruto alive.
So this one is either a reincarnation or the chakra energy manifesting another Kurama inside Himawari to boost her powers.
In Chapter 8, it was revealed that Himawari possesses an innate Tailed Beast trait, which is the reason why Daemon once referred to her as highly formidable, and now, why Jura is actively pursuing her. The correspondence between this chakra signature and that of Naruto Uzumaki serves as a confirmation that she possesses the inherent strength of Kurama inside her.
The presence of further Tailed Beast abilities within her is yet to be determined. It is imperative to bear in mind that Naruto possessed the chakra of each individual Tailed Beast within him, including Boruto, enabling him to harness their respective abilities. Currently, it has been verified that Himawari possesses the ability of Kurama.
Whether she will possess the ability to control other Tailed Beasts or not is contingent upon Kishimoto’s intended interpretation of the character.
Lucky for her, as she wanted to meet Kurama since she was a toddler.

Without further ado, Here are the full spoilers for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 9! They are fan translated and a lot of the dialogue from the chapter is missing so take them with a grain of salt.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 9 Spoilers:
The chapter begins with Juga and Hidari coming face to face with Himawari and the rest of Team 10. Juga and Hidari came to Konoha chasing the Nine-Tails Chakra to meet Naruto but didn’t expect to see a little girl and the other shinobis.
Meanwhile, Shikadai stalls time for backup to arrive because he clearly knows Juga is too OP for him and the gang to take care of.
Juga states that they were surprised that the Nine-Tails Chakra trail led to Himawari, signaling a mysterious connection between the two.
After admitting that Himawari is their sole target, Jura attempts to capture her by launching a wood-style attack. By working together, Team 10 is able to liberate Himawari from her wood-style constraints, and Shikadai wonders why Jura is pursuing Himawari now that the Nine-Tails are supposedly dead.
Jura explains that the Chakra the Nine-Tails emanated is of the same kind as Himawari’s and nobody knows why. As a result, Jura desires to devour Himawari in order to shed light on these mysteries.
Meanwhile, Kawaki has awoken, thanks to Amado, and both he and Boruto head towards Konoha whether they stumble against each other once again!
Boruto states that dealing with Juga and his lackey comes first and invites Kawaki to join him, but Kawaki thinks Boruto is looking down on and thus begins another battle between the two.
Kawaki launches a set of metal rods towards Boruto but the young Lord dodges them with ease, thus establishing how much Boruto has grown since the last met pre-timeskip.
Kawaki enlarges his hand to attack Boruto but Boruto lands a blow in his stomach instead, sending him to fall backwards.
Boruto indeed confirms Kawaki’s speculation that he was looking down upon him and says:
OOOOH! THAT’S SO COLD FROM THE YOUNG LORD! HE’S HIM AFTER ALL!!!
Hearing this from his rival triggered Kawaki to activate his Karma, which in turn triggers Boruto’s own.
However, Boruto doesn’t have full control over his Karma, which prompts him to flee.
The scene in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 9 shifts to Team 10 as they continue to battle Jura, who is pretty much dominating at this point. Shikadai tries to keep him at bay but it’s of no use. Jura unleashes a Bijuu Bomb at them, causing a huge explosion along with an aftermath crater.
With the help of Sarada and Sumire, Team 10 managed to escape from Jura for now. Shikadai admits that blast would have wiped all of them out and that was indeed a close call. He suggests the group should stick together until they conjecture their next strategy.
However, Himawari tells Inojin to drop her off at a random place so that she can run away on her own. She knows Jura is after her and she sticking to the group would put their lives in danger.
The others oppose to this idea cause’ they feel she can’t outrun Jura by herself but Himawari cries that if she doesn’t do something, Jura will kill them all and they are no match for him.
All of a sudden, Himawari sees herself suddenly transported to another world, much to her surprise. We don’t know whether it is within her mind or she is physically transported.
But out of nowhere, we see a smaller version of Kurama telling Himawari that he never expected the Ten-Tails guy to be sniffed out.
In the final page of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 9, we see this fox asking Himawari who he is and she says “Kyuubi, right?” And that’s where the chapter ends.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 9 will officially release on V-Jump magazine and MangaPlus on April 18 (Thursday).
