The official website for Blue Lock Season 2 posted its first trailer on June 5, 2024, which was streamed during Anime Expo 2024.

The trailer begins with Jinpachi Ego’s speech to the 35 strikers who survived the rigorous selection process. As if to fuel the strikers’ egos, Ego tells them that if they lose the match against the U-20 Japan National Team, “Blue Lock” will disappear, and that there will be tryouts for a regular spot in the national team.

After Ego’s speech, Kiyoshi’s ego is boiling as he says, “This is the match that can completely change my life with these hands,” and the video gives the impression of the beginning of a new battle (match) that they cannot afford to lose.

At the end of the PV, Oliver Aiku appears for the first time. How will Aiku, the former captain of the U-20 Japan national team and the key player in defense, play against the Blue Lock Eleven, all of whom are forwards? Keep an eye on Aiku’s performance along with the Blue Lock Eleven!
