Jujutsu Kaisen Author Officially Confirms That Nobara Is Dead And Will Not Be Coming Back
In Jujutsu Kaisen, there are no fakeouts. If someone is dead, he/she is dead for good and fans will have to deal with it.
Well, it seems to be a gloomy day for both Gojo and Nobara fans. Not only did Gege Akutami confirm that Gojo Satoru will not be coming back, but Nanami and Nobara are also added to that permanent death list.
During a Q&A session with the author, as posted in a recent Jujutsu Kaisen exhibition in Japan, Akutami stated that he and his team had already decided to kill Nanami and Nobara even before the Shibuya arc even began.
Before beginning Shibuya Arc, Gege had already decided to eliminate Nanami & Nobara in Shibuya

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 saw Nanami die brutally at the hands of Mahito after being severely wounded while fighting different cursed spirits and objects. Similarly, Mahito stays nearby, as he is unable to kill Nanami in one hit, so he wants to make sure Nobara doesn’t survive as well.
As life flashes in her mind, she reflects on her life and who she is as a person. She learned to embrace others and her own craziness after coming to Jujutsu High. She then looks at Yuji and tells him,” Itadori, tell everyone … it wasn’t so bad.”
Just then, her face transfigures and she collapses to the ground.
Since then, fans have theorized hard and wide, racking their brains with quantum mechanics and complicated mathematics to prove that Nobara is actually alive and will come back to help Yuji against Sukuna.
For instance, this singular statement from Arata gave fans hope that she might be alive.
However, Gege, the sadist that he is, simply said, “Nah. Y’all are wrong,” and threw away any hopes with this one simple Q&A statement. In Jujutsu Kaisen, there are no fakeouts. If someone is dead, he/she is dead for good and fans will have to deal with it.

Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life.
One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul.
From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna.
Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses… and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.
