On July 3, 2024, Gege Akutami and several other manga authors drew illustrations to celebrate Eyeshield 21’s ‘BRAINxBRAVE’ 21st Anniversary. Now, Eyeshield 21 is a manga illustrated by One Punch Man artist Yusuke Murata so due to his popularity, a lot of big manga authors wanted to commemorate the milestone through separate illustrations.

For his drawing, Akutami decided to redraw the character Yoichi Hiruma in his own unique style!

To thank the Jujutsu Kaisen author for his kind wishes, Murata, along with Eyeshield 21’s author Riichiro Inagaki, drew an illustration of Gojo Satoru in their own unique styles! And fans love it when different manga authors draw characters from their favorite series and Yusuke Murata is widely regarded as one of the BEST artists in the industry right now, so it’d be a treat for Jujutsu Kaisen fans and Akutami to see Gojo Satoru drawn in THE same quality as One Punch Man.
