Only two months remain before the release of “Attack on Titan: The Last Attack” and we finally get an official key visual and a full trailer on the same day!

The poster merges Eren’s iconic freedom pose bordered by the Colossal Titans from the Rumbling, the Alliance led by Armin and Mikasa in the bottom-center of the image, with a sunrise between the two.

Noticeably, Zeke Jaeger, the Beast Titan and Eren’s villainous brother, is on the right-hand side and shown holding a baseball and not wearing his signature glasses.

Trailer Breakdown

The trailer shows quick glimpses of Eren’s iconic freedom shot and the Rumbling sequence from Chapter 131 flowing with Eren’s speech in Chapter 133, telling his friends in Paths to fight.

The track used for the entire trailer is “The Successor” by Kohta Yamamoto, getting its first use as it has never been played in the actual series.

The previous teaser released on used “Friendships”, another unused track by Kohta Yamamoto in the anime that was only used there, and some staff interviews.

Could this mean that some official soundtracks will be replaced in the theatrical cut, possibly with the unused tracks?

Later, we see the failed bombing of the Colossal Titans headed for Fort Slava while Marley Secretary Mueller’s speech from Chapter 134 plays.

Hange’s sacrifice from Chapter 132 is also shown as they ask Levi if their comrades can hear them.

We see the Alliance face off against the Ancient Titans, with Levi’s reply to Hange to “dedicate your heart” in Chapter 132, Jean’s words about being members of the Survey Corps like in Chapter 135, and Reiner’s own resolve to stop the Titans.

We also hear Armin’s words in the anime version of his final conversation with Eren also feature, thanking him for showing him the other side of the Wall and saying goodbye while we see Armin in his Colossal Titan form and Eren in his Colossal Titan form clash.

This line is noted to be the replacement for the infamous “thank you for becoming a mass murderer for our sakes” statement in Chapter 139.

The words, which roughly translate to, “See it through with them, the ending” appear throughout the final stretch of the preview, leading towards the movie title itself.

Later, we see Mikasa put on her scarf like in Chapter 138, with the words “Thank you for wrapping this scarf around me”, which were her words at the end of the final chapter itself.

The official Twitter account for the Attack on Titan anime releases the trailer.
