Choujin X New Volume Announcement
Volume 11 makes the first volume to show a character covered in a previous volume and it is not even the main protagonist himself!
The current arc of Choujin X is going full steam ahead with its intense battles to the finish line, which is the final defeat of the Holy Mother Zora.
Choujin X Volume 11 will be released on November 19, 2024.
The volume cover features the second cover appearance of Azuma Higashi, now showing his face in the cover this time.
Noticeably, his eyes are scarred as a result of his fight with Vlad Bador in Chapter 58.3.
The cover also seems to resemble a ripped photo.
There is also an established pattern where the characters chosen for the covers come in a set.
The first three volumes are the three main protagonists (Tokio, Ely, and Azuma, in that order)
Volumes 4, 5, 6 feature the villains, the Tower of Mourning leaders: Batista the Noh Mask Man, Chandra Hume the Smoke Choujin, and Sora Siruha, the latter being the main antagonist.
Volumes 7, 8, 9 feature Palma Shi , Simon Kagomura, and Momoma, the three important supporting characters.
Volume 10 featured Yubiko, an antagonist who appears to have her own agenda outside the Tower of Mourning
Volume 11 now features Azuma, which may foreshadow his role as an antagonist or even as the Calamity that Sora and Tokio are trying to prevent.
Volume 11 will have 228 pages, consisting of Chapters 53 up to 58, the latter chapter having received its third and final part on October 15, 2024.
Choujin X is the latest manga written and illustrated by Sui Ishida.
Ishida previously wrote Tokyo Ghoul and its sequel Tokyo Ghoul:re from 2011 to 2018.
Since May 10, 2021, Choujin X has been released online at Tonari no Young Jump in an irregular schedule and published physically in Weekly Young Jump.
