Rakshas Sends Kushan to Hell! Berserk Chapter 378 Spoilers!
Rakshas is no ordinary Apostle and Guts will finally act in this new arc for the first time.
In the previous Berserk chapter, the Kurultai of the Kushan Empire is interrupted by Rakshas’s possession of the Northern chief.
Berserk Chapter 378 is titled, “Invited Assassin”
This chapter has 22 pages.
The cover page is in brown, akin to brown paper, and shows a sketch-like Rakshas attacking Silat.
The chapter begins with Rakshas exiting the body of the Northern chief
Rakshas floats, his broken mask emphasized.
Silat expresses shock at how Rakshas has fallen, from an exiled Bakiraka into an Apostle
Rakshas is confused by how he ended up in Kushan but recalls how he actually died when Rickert blew him up with a rocket in Chapter 341: “Soaring Escape”.
Rakshas is surprised to still be alive from that and overcomes the Bakiraka that threw themselves against him.
As it turns out, Silat had Bakiraka disguised among the servants.
Silat tries to charge forward but Daiba warns him that Rakshas is an Apostle and should not be handled carelessly.
Suddenly, Rakshas summons a mighty wave of od that covers the whole city, resulting in the summoning of trolls and other astral beings into the city.
A tornado emerges similar to the summoning of the God Hands for Sacrifice in the Black Swordsman Arc.
However, this tornado signals a different phenomenon: the opening of the Astral Gates to Qliphoth, the realm of trolls and ogres and the darkness in the Interstice between the Human and Astral Worlds.
Farnese prepares to intervene against the mass of demons but before she could be attacked, Serpico defends her as Farnese explains that Qliphoth is manifesting in the city.
Daiba worries over this situation as summoning Qliphoth is beyond the abilities of an ordinary Apostle.
This could mean that Rakshas might be a unique case like Kushan Emperor Ganishka, which could explain how he survived being killed by Rickert.
The chapter ends with Guts awakening from the sensation of od caused by Rakshas’s ruckus.
There is no confirmed release date for Chapter 379.
