Crunchyroll to Release Fire Force Season 3 Trailer on December 5!

Fire Force is set to return ablaze next year with a lengthy final season.

After a long, four-year wait, Fire Force Season 3 will finally get its first official trailer at the CCXP24 convention on December 5, 2024 at 5:45 EST time.

Fire Force Season 2 ended on December 20, 2020, a full four years without any new content from the David Productions adaptation.

Season 2 stopped at Chapter 174: “Signs of Upheaval”, meaning there are exactly 130 chapters left to adapt for the final season.

With this trailer, we will get to see exactly what David Productions  has been up to during this gap period of production.

Fire Force Season 3 was originally announced in May 2022 and was confirmed to be the final season on July 2024 at Anime Expo, where we saw a teaser visual

Unlike the previous two seasons, this will have two split-cour runs, with the first one set to premiere in April 2025 and the second one in January 2026.

Considering the 8-month gap between cours, it is possible that there might be 48 episodes of content in total, with the first split-cour run lasting from April to October 2025 and the second being from January to June 2026.

However, since each season of Fire Force usually adapts less than 90 chapters, that might not be the case.

There is no confirmed episode count, though we might learn that in the trailer release tomorrow.

The original manga by Ohkubo went from September 2015 to February 2022, serialized under Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine for 34 volumes and a total of 304 chapters.

The Fire Force anime was released on under David Productions, beginning with Season 1 under the direction of Yuki Yase (Durarara!!!) from July to December 2019 and Season 2 under Tatsuma Minamikawa (The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky) from July to December 2020

Fire Force tells the story of a world that was destroyed by fire, with the Tokyo Empire as the only viable civilization and protected by the Special Fire Force. Series protagonist Shinra Kusakabe joins Company 8 to prove himself a hero.
