In the previous Choujin X Chapter 59 part, we learn that Azuma is actually a clone of Queem Mcmann, the Choujin X before Sora Siruha and that his body will reset to an infantile state unless Queem’s soul is restored to his body.

Choujin X Chapter 59, part 3 is titled, “Empty”

This chapter has 42 pages and concludes Chapter 59 for a total of 102 pages or more than half of the upcoming Volume 12.

The chapter begins with BB confronting Azuma is his Chaosified form, with BB remarking that Azuma has mimicked Bador Vlad

It seems that now, Bador Vlad is fully gone, vaporized by the mindless Azuma’s efforts.

BB prepares to sacrifice herself to stop Azuma’s Chaosification, which tantamounts to breaking Azuma’s body to the point of being unable to constantly regenerate.

BB Bansho’s Choujin power, “Super Big Bomber Bomber BBB”, allows her to release explosions from her strong physical blows.

After BB withdraws the human troops, Denku offers to help BB to repay her for taking him in.

With an explosive cloud placed on her heart, BB powers herself up, her heart beating more powerfully.

BB and Azuma come to blows, causing explosions left and right, destroying so many structures.

Ishida’s art tempts one to imagine all of this animated in the best possible way.

BB even leaps beyond the bounds of a panel to show her ability to dodge Azuma’s blats by propelling her feet with explosions.

Eventually, Azuma wraps his chains around a giant pillar, giving Denku the chance to throw knifes and channel his lightning there through his dangerous technique, “Deep Ninja Art: Raikakutsuwa Thunderstrike Bridle!”

This immobilizes Azuma as the iron allows Denku’s lightning to travel through and affect Azuma.

BB grabs Azuma for her last dive while imparting encouraging words, telling him that no matter what type of being he is, he will always be a Yamato Mori keeper.

BB’s “Drop to Heaven” crashes through several floors of the Omega Tower

Inside Azuma’s mind, he sees that the sky has darkened and the headless ego confirms that the Chaosification has halted and thus Azuma can return to normal.

Azuma insists that he will be the one in charge of his mind and body but the headless ego warns him that this mentality will cause him even more suffering, foreshadowing the likely confrontation with Azuma in the climax of this arc.

Azuma asks if the headless ego will stay here and the latter says that he will always be a part of Azuma, just as Azuma is a part of him.

“To shirk justice is cowardice”, Azuma’s motto and the headless ego adopts it, believing that fulfilling Azuma’s “true self” as a vessel for Queem is “justice”.

As Azuma climbs the massive length of chain leading to the outside, Azuma says that cannot be sure if the headless ego is completely telling the truth as he has to see that for himself once he wakes up.

The double-page spread of Azuma climbing up to the light is simple yet beautiful thanks to the photorealistic sky and the way this resembles a man climbing up to heaven yet the return to reality will not be heavenly as Azuma awakens, losing an arm while BB loses her fingers, her state still unclear.
