Which Devil Will Denji Revive First? Chainsaw Man Chapter 186 and 187 Review!

In the previous Chainsaw Man chapter, Denji’s plan is revealed to be simply eating from the organs of the people trapped in the Aging Devil’s worlds to give Pochita blood.

Working together, Denji and Pochita take on the Aging Devil.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 186 is titled, “Yank, Blorsh, Bdroom”

The chapter begins with Pochita charging to the location of the Aging Devil.

Here, Aging makes a contract with the Public Safety Devil Hunters, telling them that it will protect them from Chainsaw Man in exchange for handing it sovereignty and control over their bodies.

Which means to avoid being chainsawed to death, they will lose their organs until they die.

First, nails, just like Akane Sawatari’s contract with the Snake Devil, to cleave Pochita in half but this fails.

Aging admits the method is ugly but Fumiko insists that they accept this as they want to prevent the Prophecy from happening since Yoru, Chainsaw Man and his army of wannabes are rampaging all over Tokyo.

Fumiko seems to be willing to sacrifice her body so that she can see humanity evolve.

There is still so much we do not know about Fumiko but the next chapter does not resolve this.

While Denji feasts on the insides of the people in the Aging World, Chainsaw Man overcomes Aging’s various attacks and even throws his heart at the being.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 187 is titled “Barf”

Aging Devil orders the maimed Public Safety Hunters to stomp on the heart but being too slow, Pochita regenerates instantly from it and begins hacking at the Aging Devil’s body.

The Aging Devil commends Chainsaw Man for the exciting pain he has given it but the Aging Devil is completely unfazed.

The Aging World victim calls out Denji for disrespecting those who stayed in this world as trees for thousands of years while Denji is barely 20 and wasting his time and life with nonsense.

The Aging Devil continues to be a commentary on two fears: the fear of aging and the aging’s disappointment with the wastefulness of youth.

Waste and productivity are measures of time for the subjects of the Aging Devil who empower and obey it.

Speaking of waste, Denji feels full from all the guts he has eaten, revealing the true reason for chowing down, which was to make himself, and by extension, Pochita so full that eh would begin to regurgitate various Devils to help him fight and immobilize Aging.

If unleashing the Snow Devil changed the environment in the Aging World, we could see the release of the other Devils Pochita erased come back and immediately affect the world.

Recall that Pochita ate many devils, including multiple weapon devils such as the Nuclear Weapons Devil that Yoru is after, and part of the War Devil herself.

Some would speculate that Makima might be revived but Denji ate her in human form and Nayuta is the reincarnation of her form, but we have yet to know what else happened to her body, so who can say.

However, based on Denji puking out the Mouth and Ear Devils first, then the Snow Devil in the Aging World, this means that Denji is puking out Devils in a specific order.

The next one might very well be the Octopus Devil that Yoshida contracted.
