Dragon Ball Super Manga Makes Sudden Return But in a Different Way

How will the new one-shot connect with the main Dragon Ball: Super manga storyline

Ever since Akira Toriyama’s passing on March 2024, the Dragon Ball Super manga has been on hiatus yet this time with the conclusion of the Super Hero Saga (Chapters 91-103).

On December 21, 2024, it was announced that a new Dragon Ball Super one-shot will be published in V-Jump’s April 2025 issue.

Based on the promotional image, the one-shot seems to be focused on Trunks and Goten, who are wearing what appears to be wearing business attire and they look to be more mature, as last time we left off, they were still teenagers.

We will be getting more information next month.

Dragon Ball: Super is a manga written by Toyotaro and supervised by Akira Toriyama until his passing on March 2024.

Dragon Ball: Super serves as the sequel to the original Dragon Ball manga and began releasing on V-Jump on June 20, 2015, reaching 23 chapters and 103 monthly chapters in total.
