THE NEXT SATORU GOJO! Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 271.5 Spoilers!!!

Jujutsu Kaisen’s four epilogues give surprisingly solid endings for the entire cast just through simple, ordinary events.

JUJUTSU KAISEN © 2018-2024 by Gege Akutami/SHUEISHA Inc.

In the final Jujutsu Kaisen chapter, we witness Yuji and his friends finish a simple mission involving a rogue Curse User. Following the footsteps of the late Satoru Gojo, Yuji seeks to help the man. Meanwhile, we catch up with Sukuna in the afterlife, where he realizes his own curse and decides to start anew.

We receive the final two volumes of Jujutsu Kaisen, Volumes 29 and 30.

Volume 29, which featured Ryomen Sukuna’s Heian form, contains Uraume as the back illustration.

Volume 30, which has Yuji Itadori on the cover, contains Megumi Fushiguro as the back illustration.

Along with the new illustrations, Volume 30 contains an epilogue chapter

Thanks to Myth and Myamura for covering the early translations for the

In total, the epilogue has 19 pages, a full manga chapter’s worth of new post-Jujutsu Kaisen content.

Here are four epilogues for the following characters:

Epilogue: Yuko Ozawa

This epilogue has 6 pages.

Yuko Ozawa is Yuji Itadori’s friend that we met all the way in Chapter 64: “It’s Like That”.

She and Yuji meet again, where Yuji talks about how he likes snow (as he brought up in Chapter 265: “That Day”) because while fireworks and the sea become less and less special as people grow older, the snow is still somehow special.

We continue with Ozawa walking around the city and notices that she has not seen anyone from her school.

Then again, through both elementary and middle school, there are probably about 200 people whose faces she does not quite recognize.

Suddenly, Yuji runs into Ozawa and recognizes her immediately, which makes Ozawa freeze in place.

Yuji explains that he left Tokyo to see his hometown, Sendai City, to check on his grandfather Wasuke’s house and it was just as he left it.

As the pair walk around, Yuji reveals that his grandmother, now left alone since Wasuke’s passing, has been moved to an elderly home, so Yuji came to clean up the house before she would go there.

Ozawa then asks if he has been doing okay in Tokyo and her thoughts shift to Yuji being fine with Nobara around, even though Nobara clarified he would never be interested in someone like Yuji.

Yuji just brings up Shibuya but he came out fine.

This makes Ozawa wonder if that is where Yuji got the scars from.

As a normal person with no idea about Jujutsu, Ozawa would think that what happened in Shibuya, the invisible slashes from Sukuna’s Malevolent Shrine, were a disaster that affected Yuji as an ordinary bystander.

On her end, Ozawa mentions that she has been in Machida, which Yuji calls a “city of mystery”.

Yuji says he was joking and that he already knew about how Ozawa was doing through Nobara.

The mention of Nobara makes Ozawa feel insecure again.

But this time, it seems to be about Yuji being the one to actually check on her first instead of Nobara just bringing Ozawa up.

Suddenly, they see the snow fall and here we get yuji explaining how he likes snow and how it is mysterious.

It’s the opposite of Anakin Skywalker talking about how he hates sand and how it is coarse, rough, irritating and gets everywhere.

Ozawa says in her thoughts that she also likes snow and how it lights up, especially when piled up.

Yuko blushes as she thinks about how the snow is similar to the person she likes, Yuji.

Also keep in mind that in Japan, Christmas Eve (December 24), which also happens to be the day Yuji defeated Sukuna, is considered a romantic day akin to Valentines.

The final volumes are being released on December 25 in Japan.

This stuff writes itself.

Meanwhile somewhere else, Nobara senses that Yuji is on the precipice of becoming an adult.

Megumi yaps about how children would never have talks about succeeding the family.

Oh right, Megumi is the new head of the Zenin Clan.

He…has a lot of things to think about.

Well, guess Yuji got his girlfriend at the end.

Quite timely as this December, Gege Akutami’s friend Kohei Horikoshi also finally made Deku and Uraraka an official couple in My Hero Academia’s own epilogue.

Epilogue: Panda

This epilogue only has 3 pages.

This epilogue takes place decades after the story of Jujutsu Kaisen ended.

We see a girl try to reach for Panda’s stuffed animal body but the boy, her brother, tells her not to touch her grandfather’s treasure.

Grandfather? Hmm.

The girl takes hold of Panda and finds him cute but when the grandson reveals Panda is a corpse doll, the girl throws him away.

Suddenly, Panda rises up and calls out the girl for having a rotten attitude unbecoming of Yuta’s grandchild.

The narrator notes that: “Abrupt-Mutation Cursed Corpse – Panda. After the sorcery terrorism of November, 2018, its Mutual Observation Type Independent Control lost function.”

“It stopped activity in October, 2035. After being registered into the Gojo family’s storage, its ownership was passed to Okkotsu Yuta, the clan head representative.”

“Even now in 2080, it still sometimes moves.”

Panda would no longer be an independent person and instead be in the custody of the Gojo Clan, whom we have not seen outside of Gojo himself.

So Panda stopped working in 2035, likely showing that in spite of lasting long after Yaga’s death, Panda could not last forever, which led to 45 years of being shut down.

However, the statement indicates that Panda is still operational.

Maybe cursed energy reboots itself?

We also learn that Yuta Okkotsu became the representative of the clan head of the Gojo Clan.

Recall from Jujutsu Kaisen 0 that Gojo mentioned how he and Yuta are distant relatives through one of the Big Three Vengeful Spirits, Michizane Sugawara, a sorcerer of the Heian Era.

Yuta still having his Copy Cursed Technique and Rika makes him the strongest sorcerer and by being Gojo’s blood relative, even while distant, he fulfills the role of Gojo, except he does not lead the clan itself.

Essentially, both Yuji and Yuta have inherited Gojo’s legacy in different ways.

If Yuta were still alive, he would be 80 years old.

However, we also notice that Yuta’s granddaughter is wearing Rika’s ring, which might imply that Yuta may not be alive at this time.

We still do not know if he ended up with Maki or not.

Epilogue: Nobara Kugisaki

This epilogue has 6 pages.

We go back to the present day as Nobara finally meets her mother in a restaurant.

In Chapter 268: “Settling Matters”, Gojo wrote two letters for his students, Megumi and Nobara.

While Megumi’s letter confirmed that Gojo killed his father, Nobara’s letter revealed where her mother was, a plot point that was just brought up in that chapter.

Nobara destroyed the letter but it was pretty clear that she understood its contents and had used the information to locate her mother.

When they do meet, however, Nobara claims she is seeing her to honor Gojo’s final words to her.

Gojo knows how to pressure his students to do something and death was quite convenient.

It is only now that Nobara’s mother learned that Nobara became a sorcerer since the former had no talent for Jujutsu sorcery, which meant that Nobara was trained by her strict sorcerer grandmother.

We see that Nobara took up something, which somehow matches her new look with the eyepatch and trench coat.

Nobara calls out her mother for lacking something but it was not the talent of a sorcerer but of a parent.

This sort of confirms that Nobara was raised by a single mother and indicates that the reason for Nobara’s mother being gone is because the woman feared Jujutsu and wanted to live a free life.

In a way, she was like Nanami Kento when he decided to be a salaryman, except she seems to be less responsible, being someone who drinks out.

Nobara’s mother simply disregards Nobara’s words and even pities her for trying to improve her memories of a terrible mother.

The woman even brags about how she has not changed and still continues to seduce the rich, getting drunk and running through young men.

Wait hold on, what if Gojo met her in a bar somewhere? Gojo is non-alcoholic but he goes out with Shoko often.

Nobara’s mother even mocks the idea of tying one’s identity to their parents, which is not at all what Nobara feels at present.

As the woman delights in her life and makes fun of her daughter, she feels a chill in her spine.

The segment ends when Nobara’s grandmother (a Sorcerer) appears next to Nobara’s mother, much to Nobara’s delight and her mother’s horror.

It would be funny if the grandmother was actually dead or that Nobara simply brought her here for this moment.

Nobara really is taking after Gojo in the trolling department.

Karma served.

Epilogue: Uraume

This epilogue has 4 pages.

We conclude the epilogue chapter with the story of how Sukuna met Uraume.

In the Heian Era a thousand years ago, Ryomen Sukuna saw a house where a child accidentally froze their parents and the rest of the area.

Uraume had awakened their Cursed Technique, resulting in this tragedy.

Sukuna remarks that he accidentally crushed his ice house, an ancient form of refrigeration used worldwide since ancient Persia in 1780 BCE, so he asks Uraume to come with him.

Sukuna tasks Uraume with watching the deer carcass he brought so it does not rot.

Uraume is confused as they do not know how to even freeze the carcass.

Sukuna lets Uraume eat from the meat.

Later, Sukuna samples the meat Uraume helped to preserve and is impressed by the taste.

Uraume learned how to cooled the red meat at a low temperature and dried it out by blowing wind at it.

They did it without anyone teaching them.

Sukuna asks Uraume if they can butcher humans.

We see that Sukuna treats human meat as a delicacy here.

Uraume wonders why even though Uraume freezes everything around them, it seems that Sukuna remains unaffected by their cold.

They walk together in the darkness, hand in hand, just like how they ended the story of Jujutsu Kaisen in Chapter 271.

The whole epilogue ends with Sukuna asking Uraume how is it that they did not end up cold when they were around him.
