From the start of the Elbaph Arc, we have seen a familiar silhouette roaming around the
Scopper Gaban Confirmed?
All the hints point to the mysterious figure being Scopper Gaban
The first hint shows two axes, the easiest sign that the mysterious figure is none other than Scopper Gaban, who is noted for using axes.
However, it also brings the impression of Scopper Gaban’s status being revealed the same way as Silvers Rayleigh’s in his proper introduction in Chapter 500: “Embers of History”, where he was called the “Right Hand of the Pirate King”
The Left Hand or Left Wing of the Pirate King.
Also if you notice, if you add 11 and 39 together, you get the number 50, which fits the motif of their introductions.
Could the chapter title also connect to Chapter 500’s?
Considering the previous chapter relayed the literal embers of history, we might have a smaller but still crucial lore drop alongside the return of Scopper Gaban
The second hint is an old man, Dragon Ball’s Master Roshi, saying “love is freedom”.
This suggests that Scopper Gaban might be a passionate lover of women (maybe not just his wife Ripley) or he is particularly loving towards her.
Either way, we have a new trait for the less characterized Gaban to be revealed in this chapter.
