This chapter has 19 pages.
Editor’s note: “Ando has suffered a fatal injury!! What will Sakamoto and Shin do…?!”
The chapter starts off with Shin catching up to Sakamoto and tells him about the bomb.
Shin reveals that there is more than one bomb planted on the ship.
There are bombs in the engine room, the cargo hold, the passenger area, and even the main hall, practically all over the ship.
Since Ando is fading fast, Sakamoto makes a decision but before that, the ship suddenly shakes.
Ikari heads for the control room as he intends to speed the ship towards the shore in a desperate attempt to save Ando’s life.
The crew members insist there is a medical clinic onboard but Ikari says that won’t be enough as Ando needs intensive care.
Sakamoto immediately snaps Ikari’s neck.
When Sakamoto orders the crew to take the helm, they tell him that the steering system is destroyed, which means they cannot change course or stop the engines.
They will crash into the nearby port soon.
From the shore, two fishermen are surprised to see the ship coming close to them and as a dog owner walks his dog, suddenly, the ship crashes from behind.
One man wakes up and thinks the sight of the crashed vessel is just a dream.
The ship does not stop as it heads for a bridge and Ando is struggling to keep himself alive.
A police chopper comes close to the ship, demanding it to stop immediately.
Seeing the helicopter, Sakamoto swings Ikari’s anchor and makes the helicopter crash in front of the speeding ship.
Sakamoto asks the pilot if he could lend the chopper for a moment and he uses its propellers to slow down the ship.
The ship soon nears the bridge, causing the people in both areas to panic.
Fortunately, the ship manages to stop before completely destroying the bridge, instead letting the bridge lie on its bow.
Shin announces on the speakers that the ship is about to explode and that the passengers should evacuate.
Sakamoto rescues the police pilot while Shin helps with the evacuation, telling the passengers to jump into the river if they cannot make it.
Shin is surprised the ship has not exploded, which means Ando is still alive.
He is relieved that he still has one last chance to talk to his father.
Suddenly, Shin hears the voice of a crying child, who is unable to move with his hurt legs, so Shin helps him up and slowly makes his way but then he hears the voice of his dad Ando in his mind, saying that he regrets living a meaningless life but that he refuses to die just yet.
As Shin leaves the ship, he turns around to see Ando still inside the doomed vessel and saying that Shin must live before the ship explodes, with Ando still inside it.
Editor’s Note: “His final words strike the heart…! In the next chapter, the results of the second popularity poll will be announced! The manga will also be on the magazine’s cover and receive a color opening!!”
