Jujutsu Kaisen Meets Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure in Magazine Tribute
Jujutsu Kaisen meets Jojo Bizarre Adventure in this surprising collab as we see Akutami’s take on Araki’s colorful work.
On April 26, 2025, it was confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen author, Gege Akutami will be drawing an illustration of Rohan Kishibe for the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure magazine, Jojo Magazine.
Akutami will be joined by five other artists in producing Rohan Kishibe tribute illustrations, such as:
- Chika Umino (“Honey and Clover” and “March Comes In like a Lion”)
- Okawa Bukubu (“Pop Team Epic”)
- Hoshikawa Siwas (“Bungo Stray Dogs: Storm Bringer”)
- Aki Mochida (“A Story To Read On The Day You’ve Fell In Love”)
- Yajima
More of a mook (magazine and book) than a magazine, the Jojo Magazine is dedicated to Hirohiko Araki’s Jojo Bizarre Adventure franchise and published his other works, such as the spinoff “Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe” and the two-chapter long story, “Cool Shock Old B.T.”. The magazine published its first issue on March 19, 2022.
The Jojo Magazine Summer Issue will be released on May 23, 2025, coinciding with the release of the “Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan: At a Confessional” live-action film.
