King Gnu Performs The Opening Theme For Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Shibuya Incident Arc
The Shibuya Incident arc will consist of 18 episodes that begin on August 31.
On August 8, the official Jujutsu Kaisen TV anime website announced King Gnu would perform in the second part of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2.
King Gnu will perform the theme song SPECIALZ for the Shibuya Incident arc. The arc will consist of 18 episodes that begin on August 31.
King Gnu also performed the ending theme song, Sakayume, for the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 anime film.
Season 2 premiered on July 6 on MBS, TBS, and 28 affiliated channels. On August 10, a recap of season 2 and the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film will air, and then, on August 17, a recap of season 1 will air.
About Jujutsu Kaisen
The Jujutsu Kaisen TV anime is based on the manga of the same name, written and illustrated by Gege Akutami.
Gege Akutami started its serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in March 2018.
The author shared that he plans to end the manga by the end of this year.
In October 2020, Mappa adapted the manga into a TV anime that ran for 24 episodes.
The second season will run for two cours consecutively starting July 6 and cover the Hidden Inventory Arc in the first cour.
In the second cour, the anime will cover the Shibuya Incident Arc.
