Shunpei Maruyama Producer Of Girls And Panzer Passes Away
Maruyama was the president of Actas, and produced Girls and Panzer and Princess Principal anime.
On Tuesday, Yuji Takemura reported the passing of his brother-in-law, anime producer Shunpei Maruyama.
Although he did not share the cause of death, he shared that his family has already held a wake and funeral.

Previously, Maruyama was the president of Actas, the studio best known for the Girls and Panzer and Princess Principal anime franchises.
Maruyama produced both anime, including Girls Und Panzer der Film in 2015 and Princess Principal: Crown Handler.
Maruyama last posted on his Twitter account on December 31, 2022. The tweet featured Girls and Panzer protagonist Miho and Princess Principal protagonist Ange.
