Pon No Michi Original Anime To Get A New Adaptation
The anime is set to premiere in January 2024.
On Thursday, the September issue of Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine announced that the original mahjong anime will get a manga adaptation by Tsukusa Unohana, which will launch in the magazine’s next issue on September 1.

The anime’s main cast includes:
- Kaori Maeda as Nashiko Jippensha
- Iori Saeki as Pai Kawahigashi
- Shion Wakayama as Izumi Tokutomi
- Yui Kondou as Riche Hayashi
The staff includes:
- Director, Scriptwriter: Tatsuma Minamikawa
- Original Character Designs: Negi Haruba
- Design Adaptor: Kenji Ota
In February 2016, Unohana published the four-panel comic Anima Yell! in Houbunsha’s comic Time Kirara Carat publication.
The manga ended in August 2020. In September 2020, Houbunsha released its fifth and last compilation book volume.
The manga served as the basis for a Doga Kobo television anime, which debuted in October 2018.
The anime was shown live on Crunchyroll as it was in Japan.
