Isshiki’s Dojutsu Explained
Isshiki is arguably the strongest character in the Boruto-verse, thanks to his powerful dojutsu! And today, we’re going to explain the powers of Isshiki’s Dojutsu in detail!
But, what’s the name of his dojutsu again?
Isshiki’s Dojutsu:Â
While this Isshiki’s Dojutsu doesn’t have a name, it still left a strong mark in the minds of fans! The Dojutsu has a wheel-like pattern, similar to the dharma cycle present in Buddhism.Â
The cycle often presents the morals and rules of Buddhism that Buddha himself founded. Previously known as Gautama, he followed this cycle too and achieved enlightenment. The eye was originally donned by Isshiki only, but after the recent manga events, Kawaki has unlocked this power too!Â
The eye has three main abilities:Â
Isshiki’s Dojutsu: Powers Explained
Isshiki’s dojutsu grants him three main powers that let him dominate a fight:
Sukunahikona:Â
The first of which is Sukunahikona. This ability allows the user to shrink themselves and any non-living item within their vision at will and restore it to its previous size. The shift in size occurs so quickly that the human eye can’t even see it, hence it is frequently misinterpreted as teleportation!
Isshiki used this technique in combat by shrinking his chakra rods and throwing them to keep his enemies from defending against them as they couldn’t be seen, and then restoring them to their original size to inflict critical damage.Â
Daikokuten:Â
The eye’s second ability stores anything shrunk with Sukunahikona in a dimension where time doesn’t flow. This allows the user to preserve the objects in perfect condition and retrieve them at will.Â
The retrieved objects reappear almost instantly, so fast that they can catch opponents like Sasuke and Six Paths Sage Mode-enabled Naruto off guard while inflicting substantial harm.
Disruption Cubes:Â
Isshiki can also summon large black cubes capable of interfering with the sensory skills of shinobis. The cubes themselves are extremely heavy, and they are typically dropped from above to crush whatever is underneath.Â
Even one of Boruto’s greatest techniques, the Compression Rasengan, was unable to do any damage to one of the cubes and would have resulted in both his and Sasuke’s death if not for the fact that Isshiki needed Boruto alive to be fed to the ten tails.
Ultimately, nobody except Naruto in Baryon Mode has been able to stop these cubes!Â
