Nami’s sharp intellect and keen sense of navigation are crucial to the Straw Hats’ success as they sail through the treacherous waters of Grand Line.

In the early arcs of “One Piece,” Nami often relied on her crewmates to handle the fighting. However, as the Straw Hats ventured into the Grand Line, this reliance no longer became a viable option. Determined to contribute more in battles, Nami sought help from Usopp, asking him to craft a weapon to suit her needs.

This led to the creation of Clima-Tact, which allows Nami to manipulate weather in various ways, enhancing her combat capabilities.

Since the time skip Nami has far surpassed all expectations of a navigator. However, with Skypian Technology she had also improved her Clima- Tact allowing her to fend for herself even in the New World.

Clima-Tact helped Nami beat the strongest Enemies in the Grand Line

The Cilma Tact made its first appearance in Arabasta Arc, chapter 190. Nami was forced to face off with Miss Doublefinger,  a high-ranking agent of Baroque Works with the powerful Spike Spike fruit.

In the beginning, Nami struggled with the Clima-Tact, as it initially appeared to be a party trick gadget but with her intelligence and adaptability. She quickly realized that by combining the different functions of the Clima-Tact, she could create powerful weather phenomena.

Thus securing her first victory in a heated battle, showed a promising result for Nami to be a capable fighter.

Fast forwarding after the time skip, Nami herself created Sorcery Clima-Tact during her two-year visit to Skypian Island, where she learned about weather manipulation from a character named Haredes.

With her new weapon in hand, in the Dressrosa Arc, Nami together with Chopper and Brook takes on Giolla, an officer of the Donquixote Pirates, who possesses the Art- Art fruit which allows her to transform the Thousand Sunny and the people on the ship into bizarre, distorted art forms, limiting their mobility and attacks.

Throughout the battle Nami’s quick thinning and intelligence allow her to use the Clima-Tact to create weather phenomena that disrupt Giolla’s attack. She utilizes the “Mirage Tempo” to create illusions and mislead Giolla, allowing other the Straw Hats to attack Giolla.

The Significant Upgrade of Nami’s Clima-Tact With Zeus

After the whole cake island, Nami’s strength has skyrocketed with the inclusion of Zeus, a thundercloud homie created by Big Mom using her very own soul.

Initially, Zeus becomes attached to Nami after she uses her ClimaTact to create black balls and weather eggs that he finds irresistible. Throughout the Whole Cake arc, she manipulates Zeus into helping her during battles, often by feeding Zeus these weather eggs to keep him satisfied and cooperative.

However, The true upgrade happens when Zeus fully integrates with Nami’s Clima-Tact, enhancing its capabilities significantly.

With Zeus inside the Clima-Tact, Nami gains the ability to unleash powerful lighting attacks far beyond what she could previously achieve. This allows her to summon massive thunderstorms and direct powerful lighting strikes with precision.

One of the notable examples of Nami using this power can be seen in the Wano arc. Nami, with Zeus’ help, delivers a devastating lighting attack against Ulti, a member of Tobi Roppo.

This shows not only the increased destructive power of her Clima-Tact but also her growing potential in using Zeus to his fullest potential.

How Chapter 1122 confirms Nami becoming the strongest female character in One Piece

While Nami lacks the physical prowess and combat experience of some of her crewmates, she compensates with her intelligence and mastery of the Clima Tact.

Although, one notable limitation is her lack of Haki.

Nami has shown signs of potentially unlocking the observation haki, which allows the user to perceive the presence, emotions, and intent of others. Her natural talent for navigation and weather prediction might suggest an inherent sensitivity that could evolve into observation haki. But, the idea of Nami possessing Conquerors or armament seemed improbable… until chapter 1122.

It is revealed that Joy Boy from the Void Century, used some kind of advanced technology to store his Conqueror’s Haki inside the Giant Robot: Emet.

This showcases that certain artifacts can contain and transmit Haki, particularly Conquerors Haki, which can be stored and harnessed by those who understand this ancient technology.

A similar example can be seen in the Nami’s visit to Weatherria, a Skypia Island, just before the time skip. There, Nami learned about weather manipulation from a character named Heredes.

In chapter 523, Heredes can be seen holding a knot, which stores energy that manipulates the environment around them to produce a gust of wind. This knot’s striking resemblance to that of Knot technology used by Joy Boy.
