Ranking Every Straw Hat Member In One Piece According To Their Bounty (Egghead Arc)

Luffy and his crew will always be on the “Wanted List” by the Marines and the World Government, probably until One Piece concludes. And with every arc the series moves towards, they get stronger and stronger with more powerups and hence, their bounty increases.

During the Egghead arc, we saw Luffy fighting with the Gorosei and the Admirals, while Zoro and the others fought with Rob Zucci and the others. Of course, the Marines were present to watch everything unfold so it’s time to rank every Straw Hat crew member according to their bounty points.

Keep in mind that a higher bounty doesn’t equal “more strength.” It just means they’re more dangerous to society and the world at large.

Without further ado, let’s get to it!

10. Tony Tony Chopper

• Bounty: 1000 Berries
• Age: 17 years old
• Height: 90 cm (Hybrid Form) (2’11”)
• Devil Fruit: Hito-Hito no Mi (Human-Human Fruit)

Starting at the bottom is the mascot, Tony Tony Chopper.

Introduced early during the Drum Island arc, this anthropomorphic reindeer serves as the ship’s doctor. Chopper has repeatedly saved the Straw Hats with his medical expertise and combat skills. Originally an ordinary reindeer, he gained human traits after consuming the Hito Hito no Mi Zoan Devil Fruit.

Despite his various transformations and undeniable value to the crew, Chopper’s significance is largely recognized only by the Straw Hats. His small, furry appearance leads the World Government to dismiss him as merely a pet, resulting in his consistently low bounty.

9. Nami

• Bounty: 360 Million Berries
• Age: 20 years old
• Height: 170 cm (5’7″)

Nami was recognized as a thief but she’s now the crew’s navigator.

As one of the earliest members of the Straw Hat crew, it’s somewhat surprising that Nami has a relatively low bounty compared to her crewmates. This lower bounty can be attributed to her tendency to avoid the dangerous activities that the rest of the crew often engages in.

Nami’s primary role as a navigator, rather than a fighter, likely contributes to her relatively modest bounty. Nonetheless, being part of the infamous Straw Hat crew ensures that her bounty, which is in the hundreds of millions, is still significantly high when viewed outside the context of her crewmates’ bounties.

Nami wields a Clima-Tact, a weapon that allows her to manipulate the weather. She can create lightning, rain, and mirages, using her knowledge of weather patterns to her advantage.

8. Brook

• Bounty: 383 Million Berries
• Age: 90 years old
• Height: 277 cm (9’1″)
• Devil Fruit: Yomi-Yomi no Mi (Revive-Revive Fruit)

He is a living skeleton and the musician of the Straw Hat Pirates. Brook’s skeletal appearance is the result of consuming the Revive-Revive Fruit (Yomi Yomi no Mi), which allowed him to come back to life after dying.

He is an accomplished swordsman, fighting with a shikomizue (a cane sword), and has the ability to use his soul to interact with the world in unique ways. Brook’s dream is to reunite with his old friend Laboon, a whale he met many years ago.

7. Franky

• Bounty: 394 Million Berries
• Age: 36 years old
• Height: 240 cm (7’10”)

Franky is a shipwright and a member of the Straw Hat Pirates, serving as their shipbuilder. Franky is a cyborg, having modified his own body with numerous mechanical enhancements and weapons, making him incredibly strong and versatile in combat. He has a flamboyant personality, often shouting his signature catchphrase “SUPER!” while striking dynamic poses.

Franky is a cyborg with immense physical strength and various built-in weapons. He also built the Straw Hat Pirates’ ship, the Thousand Sunny, equipped with many advanced features.

Franky’s role in maintaining the ship significantly contributes to his bounty, which is humorously reflected in his latest wanted poster. Instead of Franky himself, the poster showcases the Thousand Sunny, the ship adorned with a lion figurehead. Interestingly, despite Franky’s superior strength compared to the Straw Hats’ sniper Usopp, his bounty is lower.

6. Usopp

• Bounty: 500 Million Berries
• Age: 19 years old
• Height: 176 cm (5’9″)
• Haki: Observation Haki

Usopp is known for his long nose, which gives him a distinctive appearance, and his penchant for telling tall tales and exaggerating his exploits. Despite his initial cowardice, Usopp is incredibly resourceful, inventive, and brave when it matters most. He dreams of becoming a great warrior of the sea like his father, Yasopp, who is a member of the Red-Haired Pirates.

Usopp is an exceptional sniper, using a slingshot and various types of ammunition, including special “Pop Greens” (plants with various effects). He has great marksmanship and inventiveness.

Usopp’s high bounty is largely due to hilarious and serendipitous events. In the Water Seven arc, he created the Sniper King persona, gaining notoriety even before Usopp himself. In Dressrosa, Usopp accidentally played a key role in overthrowing Doflamingo, earning him god-like status for freeing thousands from captivity.

5. Nico Robin

• Bounty: 930 Million Berries
• Age: 30 years old
• Height: 188 cm (6’2″)
• Devil Fruit: Hana-Hana no Mi (Flower-Flower Fruit)

Nico Robin is a highly intelligent archaeologist and a former assassin, initially introduced as an antagonist but later becomes a key member of the Straw Hat Pirates.

Robin ate the Hana Hana no Mi (Flower-Flower Fruit), allowing her to sprout extra limbs (or parts of her body) from any surface. Robin possesses the ability to create and control multiple limbs through her Devil Fruit power, allowing her to navigate and manipulate her environment with ease. Her calm demeanor and vast knowledge of history make her an invaluable asset to the crew, often uncovering crucial information about the world’s mysteries.

As one of the few people capable of deciphering Poneglyphs, Robin’s bounty soared as the Straw Hats discovered more. With just one road Poneglyph left to find before locating the One Piece, the World Government’s high bounty on Robin reflects their desperate pursuit of her.

4. Sanji

• Bounty: 1.032 Billion Berries
• Age: 21 years old
• Height: 180 cm (5’11”)
• Haki: Color of Armament Haki, Color of Observation Haki

Sanji is the crew’s chef but his expertise in kicking-based martial arts known as “Black Leg Style.” makes him a trustworthy adversary during battle. He is also capable of using Kenbunshoku Haki and Busoshoku Haki.

Along with Luffy and Zoro, Sanji has been there to fight in the most crucial battles that determined their very lives. So it’s natural for his bounty to be that high.

3. Jinbei

• Bounty: 1.1 Billion Berries
• Age: 46 years old
• Height: 301 cm (9’10”)
• Haki: (Color of Armament Haki, Color of Observation Haki)

Jinbei is a fish-man, specifically a whale shark, known for his immense strength, resilience, and strategic mind. Jinbei is a former Shichibukai (Warlord of the Sea) who later becomes an ally of the Straw Hat Pirates.

Jinbe is a master of Fish-Man Karate and Fish-Man Jujutsu, giving him control over water and immense physical strength. Like Sanji, he can also use Busoshoku Haki and Kenbunshoku Haki.

Jinbe, formerly a captain and member of Fisher Tiger’s infamous pirate crew, challenged the World Government and Celestial Dragons. After serving as a Warlord of the Sea, he joined Luffy’s crew, bringing formidable strength in Fish-Man Karate and a reputation that earned him the third-highest bounty among the Straw Hats.

2. Roronoa Zoro

• Bounty: 1.111 Billion Berries
• Age: 21 years old
• Height: 181 cm (5’11”)
• Haki: (Color of Armament Haki, Color of Observation Haki)

Up comes the Samurai himself, Roronoa Zoro, at number 2. He is the first person Luffy recruited and agreed to join the Straw Hats. He serves as the swordsman, which is distinguished by his three swords fighting style (Santoryu), where he wields one in each hand and a third in his mouth. He is incredibly strong, skilled in swordsmanship, and known for his unwavering loyalty, strong sense of honor, and determination to become the world’s greatest swordsman.

Zoro’s pivotal role in Wano would solidify him as Luffy’s crew’s strongest member. He struck down Kaido and then clashed with King, earning the second-highest bounty among the Straw Hats.

1. Monkey D. Luffy

• Bounty: 3 Billion Berries
• Age: 19 years old
• Height: 174 cm (5’8″)
• Haki: Color of Armament Haki, Color of Observation Haki, Color of Conqueror’s Haki

Of course, who else wouldn’t be at the top of the danger list other than the GOAT Monkey D. Luffy who needs no introduction.

Luffy doesn’t just want to be the King of the Pirates; he also seeks the highest form of freedom that is possible in this world. Philosophically speaking, he would need to realize so many things but within the context of the series, he is already getting closer through Gear 5.

Introduced during his battle against Kaido, Luffy activates Gear 5 by inflating his muscles and delivering a powerful, compressed punch that resembles a rocket launcher. This form enhances Luffy’s strength, speed, and durability to even greater levels, making it a formidable asset in his ongoing quest to become the Pirate King.

Apart from that, Luffy ate the Gomu Gomu no Mi (Gum-Gum Fruit), which made his body rubber-like, granting him the ability to stretch, inflate, and bounce. He also has advanced Haki abilities, including Kenbunshoku (Observation Haki), Busoshoku (Armament Haki), and Haoshoku (Conqueror’s Haki).

Luffy’s exploits in Enies Lobby and Impel Down, alongside his recent defeat of Kaido, have consistently raised his bounty, now standing at an impressive 3 billion berries. This places him among the top 10 highest bounties in the series, just below the Emperors he’s challenged and other legendary figures like Whitebeard, Gol D. Roger, Mihawk, and Shanks.

Well, that’s it for the bounty ranking. Obviously the numbers would change as the arcs go by but would the character positions themselves change? I doubt it…
