Bay Area Rapid Transit Reveals Anime Mascots For FanimeCon
FanimeCon will take place from May 26 to 29 at the McEnery Convention Center in Downtown San Jose.
The Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) system in the San Francisco bay area introduced five anime mascots, making their debut at the FanimeCon convention in Northern California over the weekend.
Additionally, BART is offering a sneak peek of postcard art that showcases the aforementioned mascots, accompanied by Barty, the amiable companion, situated in the bottom-right corner.
Last summer, BART Communications issued a public invitation for artists residing in California to submit a collection of unique anime mascots.
Close to 500 entries were received in response to the open call.
The designs for this project were created by yokura, niaro, tofubuns, rolleybun, and melody, who are credited for their illustrations.
FanimeCon will take place from May 26 to 29 at the McEnery Convention Center in Downtown San Jose.
