Berserk Volume 43 Is Coming Out This Year
Not only will Berserk get Volume 43 but potentially more chapters after the end of February.
On February 11, 2025, it was announced that Berserk Volume 43 will be released on August 29, 2025.
The series will also get TWO consecutive Color Pages in a row.
And a special edition, including a bust of Zodd, will be available with the purchase of the volume.
Berserk Chapter 379 will be released on February 14, 2025.
As Young Animal releases every two weeks, this means that on February 28, 2025, Chapter 380 will be released.
To reach at least Volume 43 will contain Chapters to 374 to 380, which means the volume will cover all unvolumnized episodes, including the upcoming chapters.
However, this only results in the volume being less than 150 pages and most volumes are between 190 to 200 pages on average.
The announcement of the volume’s release suggests there will be one or two more chapters of Berserk after February and before August.
This could present the possibility of a higher yield of chapters than in 2024, which only produced 3 chapters so far.
Volume 42 was released on December 24, 2021, almost four years ago, and contained the first post-Miura chapters, Chapters 365: “Lull of the Waning Moon” and 373: “Rusty Iron Rings That Bind”.
The Fantasia Arc has been going on since Chapter 308 was published in 2010, around the time Miura began his irregular Berserk releases.
Since 1989, Berserk currently has 42 volumes in circulation and has sold over 60 million copies worldwide, making it one of the most popular manga of all time and is considered the father of dark fantasy manga.
Berserk continues the story of Guts after losing Casca to their former Band leader Griffith once again as he, his traveling band, and other refugees enter the Kushan Empire with the help of former Hawk member Rickert and former nemesis Silat.
