Blue Lock on a Sudden Break Next Week
Blue Lock will be taking a break this week just like Nagi himself.
On March 31, 2025, it was announced that the Blue Lock manga would be on a sudden break as it was not listed among the manga to be published in next week’s issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine.
Instead of April 8, 2025, Blue Lock Chapter 299 will be released on April 15, 2025.
Of note, Blue Lock has recently reached the 45 million sales milestone as of March 13, 2025.

Blue Lock is the manga written by Kaneshiro Muneyuki and illustrated by Nomura Yuusuke for Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since August 1, 2018, reaching 33 volumes as of March 5, 2025.
As of March 13, 2025, Blue Lock has reached over 45 million copies in circulation and was the best-selling manga of 2023, having scored 23 million copies sold in just the first half of the year alone.
