Since March 2023, fans have been anticipating the return of Blue Lock after Season 2 was announced.

Now we have revealed a trailer for Season 2, titled “Blue Lock VS. U-20 JAPAN”, premiering October 5, 2024.

Studio 8bit returns with the main trailer showing the match with U-20 and some shots from the 3rd selection Arc.

Midway into the trailer, we hear the Season 2 ending theme, “One”, performed by Snow Man, the Jpop male band that performed “Stories”, the 11th opening theme of Black Clover, as well as “Grandeur”, its 13th opening.

The first episode will be titled, “Super Egoistic Double Feature! [Blue Lock] Special Night!”.

The movie “Blue Lock: Episode Nagi” will be released as a television broadcast at 10pm, 2 hours before Episode 1 of Season 2 begins airing.

As early as June 24, it was confirmed that Blue Lock Season 2 would only have 14 episodes, as opposed to the 24 episodes Season 1 had.

Along with the official trailer, we also get a key visual featuring the cast.

However, the trailer’s release has resulted in fans online noticing a dip in quality and complaining about the constant presence of still frames throughout the trailer, in contrast to the manga’s detailed artwork.

Some leaks have previously anticipated not to have high expectations for Blue Lock Season 2 and they seem to be proven right.
