Chainsaw Man Author’s One-Shot Movie to be Released On Amazon Prime
Chainsaw Man’s author Tatsuki Fujimoto finds his famous one-shot Look Back becoming a theatrical and financial success.
After many international releases, Look Back finally enters streaming across multiple territories through Amazon Prime, come November 7 and 8, 2024.

To celebrate the Prime release, Look Back releases a new key visual featuring the protagonists Fujino and Kyomoto.
From its release in international theaters, the Look Back film has earned $19,008,333.57 USD as of October 12.
In its release to North American theaters on October 7, 2024, Look Back’s Opening Weekend made $1,240,000 Dollars
As of writing, Look Back needs one more Top Critic for it to earn a Certified Fresh Rotten Tomatoes Award, making it the most successful and highest-grossing film based on a manga one-shot.
Look Back is the 143-paged manga one-shot written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto (Chainsaw Man, Fire Punch), released digitally on July 19, 2021 and collected in a single volume by Shueisha on September 3, 2021.
Look Back is later adapted into a feature film released in Japanese theaters on June 28, 2024, produced by Studio Durian and directed by Kiyotaka Oshiyama, who is also in charge of the screenplay and character designs.
