Chainsaw Man Is USA’s #1 Best Selling Manga In January 2024
Solo Leveling, Jujutsu Kaisen and Kaiju No. 8 trail before Chainsaw Man in US’ best selling manga for January 2024
ICv2, on Feb 16, 2023, revealed the United States’ Top 10 Adult Graphic Novels for January 2024, and it looks like Chainsaw Man Volume 13 ranks #1 in the list, followed by Solo Leveling and Jujutsu Kaisen.

Chainsaw Man tops the list for the second month in a row, despite no anime currently airing. Although the highly anticipated Solo Leveling anime also debuted in January, the series already has a solid reputation, so volume 8 would have been there regardless of the anime.
However, the lack of a currently airing anime seems to be acting on Jujutsu Kaisen, pushing it down below. The Shibuya incident adaptation concluded at the end of December 2023 (Volume 16). As a result, it makes sense that those who are curious about what happens next have bought volumes 16 to 21.

About Chainsaw Man:
Chainsaw Man is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto. Its first arc was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from December 2018 to December 2020; its second arc began serialization in Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ online magazine in July 2022. Its chapters have been collected in 16 tankōbon volumes as of December 2023.
Season 1 of the anime, produced by MAPPA, was broadcast from October to December 2022. An anime film, titled Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, has been announced.

Denji is a young boy who works as a devil hunter with the “Chainsaw Devil” Pochita. One day, as he was living his miserable life trying to pay off the debt he inherited from his parents, he got betrayed and killed. As he was losing his consciousness, he made a deal with Pochita, and got resurrected as the “Chainsaw Man”: the owner of the Devil’s heart.
