Creed III Movie Announces Special Anime For Japan!
Creed III marked Jordan’s first venture as a feature director.
On Wednesday, TMS Entertainment and Michael B. Jordan announced that the Japanese release of the Creed III movie will feature a special anime by the directors and writers of Megalobox.
Michael B. Jordan announced the news on his Instagram and TMS Entertainment tweeted it.

TMS Entertainment is entrusted with the direction of the anime by Yo Moriyama.
The scriptwriting duties are handled by Katsuhiko Manabe and Kensaku Kojima. Notably, both the director and writers have previously collaborated on the anime series Megalobox and its sequel Megalobox 2: Nomad.
Jordan made an appearance at the stage greeting for the Japanese premiere of the film, held at Grand Cinema Sunshine in Tokyo on Wednesday.
During the event, he unveiled the announcement for the special anime.
Creed III marked Jordan’s first venture as a feature director.
In a previous interview with IGN, he mentioned that the film’s fight scenes drew inspiration from popular anime series such as Hajime no Ippo, Megalobox, Naruto, My Hero Academia, and Dragon Ball Z.
Jordan has previously discussed how anime influenced his performance in Creed II as well.
Creed III opened in the United States on March 3. It is the ninth installment in the Rocky film series.
