Crimson Hero Mangaka Mitsuba Takanashi To Undergo Breast Cancer Surgery

On Friday, it was announced that Mitsuba Takanashi’s Otome Tsubaki wa Warawanai is going on a hiatus due to Takanashi’s surgery and treatment for breast cancer.
Takanashi also posted her announcement on Twitter. She further explained that she had been going through tests for the past month, which confirmed her condition.
She also promised that she will come back from the hiatus after recovering from her illness.

Takanashi’s manga was launched in Cocohana magazine in October 2018. Shueisha published the manga’s first volume in March 2019.
The 10th volume of the series will be published on July 25.
Takanashi has previously written Sumika Sumire, Crimson Hero, and The Devil Does Exist manga.
