Dandadan Season 2 Announced For July 2025!
Rejoice Dandadan fans because Science SARU served you a sequel before the actual show started airing
After a breathtaking first season, Dandadan has announced its return on July 2025 for the Summer season.

Dandadan finished its 12-episode run just today, December 20, 2024, and we already have a key visual and announcement for the second season.
The key visual features Momo holding Turbo Granny in cat form and Okarun in his transformed state while Jiji is standing in the middle, all with a purple backdrop with many eyes and classic portraits of the composers Beethoven
The key visual represents the Evil Eye Arc that comes after the Cursed House Arc.
Episode 12: “Let’s Go to the Cursed House” ended off in Chapter 34, still early into the Cursed House Arc, which means that Season 2 will cover the Evil Eye Arc in the middle and will reach or likely end on the Kaiju Arc that stops at Chapter 73.
Science SARU took on the role of adapting Dandadan and have immediately seen success as the show was often in the global top 10 most watched shows on Netflix and pulled in 4.3 million views on its opening week.
As early as August 20, 2024, it was already hinted that Dandadan Season 2 would premiere in Summer 2025

There have also been some statements floating around during the early screening of Dandadan’s first three episodes that the animators have been excited to work on Season 2 as soon as possible, which indicated that production for Season 2 already begun even before the premiere of Season 1.
Dandadan has since sold 5 million copies as of December 2024 and currently has 17 volumes in circulation.
Dandadan is the story of two students, a boy, Ken “Okarun” Takakura, who only believes in aliens, and a girl, Momo Ayase, who only believes in the occult, finding out that both supernatural elements are real at the same time, and the quest for Okarun’s kintama after they were taken by the yokai Turbo Granny.
