Death Note Launches Among Us Game
Death Note was Among Us before it even came to existence, so this video game was quite the concept

On October 30, 2024, Bandai Namco Entertainment released a trailer for a Death Note video game titled, “Death Note: Killer Within”
We first see the iconic symbols of the Death Note series, the Death Note itself and an apple rolling towards it, as well as L’s symbol and words on the monitor.
We see Light and L playing a game with small figures, with one killer (Kira) holding the Death Note.
The player can either be Kira and his allies, who aim to kill the rest of the players with the Death Note or L and his allies, who intends to seize and dispose of the Death Note.
The game works similarly to Among Us, a multiplayer online game involving one or two killers and the rest of the players being ordinary workers.
Death Note is the iconic crime thriller manga written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. for Sheuisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from December 2003 to May 2006, spanning 12 volumes.
The series would gain lasting fame through its stellar anime adaptation by Studio Madhouse (Hunter x Hunter 2011, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End) and directed by Tetsuro Araki (Attack on Titan Season 1 to 3) released from October 2006 to June 2007, spanning 37 episodes.
Death Note tells the story of Light Yagami and his quest to kill every criminal in the world that is opposed by the world’s greatest detective, L.
