Dr. Stone Artist to Start New Manga Next Month
After the success of Dr. Stone, Boichi now returns to make an original work, this time much darker than his usual works.
On January 30, 2025, Boichi will start a new Wild West Manga Series titled “The Marshal King” on the Shonen Jump Plus website starting February 7, 2025.
This story is rather grisly, as it focuses on a boy who claims to be the son of a vicious outlaw and so he killed his father and crossed the desert with his corpse for onlookers to see.
Boichi is the artist behind the hit science manga Dr. Stone and the spinoff, One Piece Episode: A.
He is also author of two hit Japanese manga, “Sun-Ken Rock” (2006-2016) and “Origin” (2016-2019) and has also done some Korean works such as “Param in the sky and the stars” and “Super String: Marco Polo’s Travel to Multiverse”, the latter being serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday.
