Dr. Stone’s Final Season Sets Return Date on July 2025

Dr. Stone will continue airing its Final Season on July 2025.

On March 27, 2025, Dr. Stone: Science Future Part 1 concluded and with that, Part 2 of the Final Season was announced to be scheduled for July 2025.

This part ended on Episode 69: “Reunion”, which adapts the last chapters of the New America City Arc (Chapters 139 to 169).

Part 2 will adapt the South America Arc (Chapters 170 to 193) and end on the New Stone World Arc (Chapers 194 to 200), the perfect opening for the final part.

The Final Season is divided into three parts, with Part 1 airing from January 9, 2025 to March 27, 2025 for a total of 12 episodes.

About Dr. Stone

Dr. Stone is a science fiction manga written by Riichiro Inagaki, illustrated by Boichi, and published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump from March 2017 to March 7, 2022 within 26 volumes and selling over 18 million copies by December 2024.

The manga would be adapted into an anime series by TMS Entertainment (Sakamoto Days), beginning with Season 1 that ran from July 5 to December 13, 2019 with 24 episodes.

This is followed by “Stone Wars”, Season 2, airing from January 14 to March 25, 2021 with 12 episodes.

A TV special, Dr. Stone: Ryusui premiered on July 10, 2022 to set up Season 3, “New World”, which would be divided into 2 parts, with Cour 1 airing from April 6 to June 15, 2023, and Cour 2 airing from October 12 to December 21, 2023 for a total of 22 episodes.

The manga is set 5,700 years after the modern world was petrified by a mysterious phenomenon. The first human to awaken was Senku, a science-driven high-schooler, who uncovers the secret to reviving humans into the new Stone Age and speedruns two millions years of technological development in a few short years.
