Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End First Anime Teaser Released
Keichiro Saito (director of BOCCHI THE ROCK) will direct the Frieren: Beyond journey’s End.
On 8 March 2023, the Official Website for Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End announced the Tv anime to be released at the start of autumn 2023.
The website also shared the first teaser trailer for the anime.
Later that day, the official website also revealed the staff for the anime in another post.
Atsumi Tanezaki (VA of Anya from SPY X FAMILY) will voice the main character Frieren.
Keichiro Saito (director of BOCCHI THE ROCK) will direct the Frieren: Beyond journey’s End at MAD HOUSE.
Tomohiro Suzuki is writing the series composition and Reiko Nagasawa will do the character design.
The TV anime is an adaptation of the manga Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe.
The Yamda and Abe started manga serialization in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday on April 2020.
The manga has collected 9 tankobon volumes as of September 2022. The manga has 8 million copies in circulation as of March 2023.

For ten years, elf mage Frieren travelled with Himmel the hero, Heiter the priest, and Eisen the dwarf warrior as they quested to destroy the demon king.
At the end of their journey, Frieren set out on her own, not quite understanding how differently time flows for her versus her human companions.
Reunited after fifty years only to see them wither and die.
Frieren begins to ponder the nature of connections at a time when it’s already too late to say goodbye.
