Jujutsu Kaisen Employs A Live-Action Takaba And Kenjaku To Promote Their New Manga Volume!
Takaba is a high school teacher who addresses his students when, suddenly, Kenjaku shows up in the class, much to Takaba’s surprise!
Shonen Jump YouTube channel uploaded a new promo video for Jujutsu Kaisen manga on July 4, 2024, for the recently released Jujutsu Kaisen volume 27. It is basically a live-action parody featuring Fumihiko Takaba and Kenjaku called “3-nen J-gumi Chojin Sensei”.
In the promo, Takaba is an overly passionate high school teacher who addresses his students when, suddenly, Kenjaku shows up in the class, much to Takaba’s surprise!

This skit is a hilarious take on the iconic “Fanta Academy Series” ads that have put the Coca-Cola drink brand at the forefront since 2002. In Jujutsu Kaisen, Takaba takes the place of Fanta Academy’s “Choujin-sensei.”
This is one of the two promo projects that will be implemented, featuring Takaba, a character who also appears on the cover of the book.

In the 2nd project, we’ll take a look at Takaba’s “Yokeina Ose Wi-Fi!!!,” a one-liner that captures the sensation of logging onto an unreliable outdoor Wi-Fi network. The “Yokeina Ose Wi-Fi!!! Ad Truck,” a Wi-Fi-enabled mobile billboard, will be strolling around Shinjuku and Shibuya, Tokyo, from July 4th to the 10th.
Additionally, the official Jujutsu Kaisen Twitter account is running a submission campaign in which one person will win a Takaba-made costume for “3-nen J-gumi Chojin Sensei” through a lottery. To enter, take a photo of yourself posing for the “Extra Oyo Wi-Fi!!! Ad Truck” or the “Extra Oyo Wi-Fi!!!” and post it to X with the hashtag “#Extra Oyo Wi-Fi” by 11:59 p.m. on July 10th.
Furthermore, Jujutsu Kaisen collaborated with Fanta to make this hilarious poster, which is a recreation of this panel from Chapter 242.
In this chapter, the “Shinjuku Showdown” arc continues with a big battle in which Takaba faces off against Kenjaku. If Takaba thinks something funny, he can use his famed “Comedian” approach to make it happen. He uses this ability to effortlessly whisk Kenjaku and himself away to the wonderfully absurd world of a Grape Fanta commercial.
Several fans on Twitter have noticed that this panel alludes to a previous joke that mashed up the words “Sea of Fanta” and “Fantasea.”
