Jujutsu Kaisen Final Chapter and Happy Announcement
Will Jujutsu Kaisen be getting a Part 2 after all? Let’s see.
On August 19, 2024, exactly one month ago, Gege Akutami, the author of Jujutsu Kaisen announced that the series will conclude in five chapters.
Now as we near the final chapter, we receive word that Jujutsu Kaisen will end with a Center Color Page on Shonen Jump issue 44/2024 on September 30, 2024.

The series will also hold a Digital Manuscript Applicant Service that includes a Postcard Appendix in the issue.
Additionally, there will be a “Happy Announcement”, with an editor’s note saying “there will be more to come”.
Might this indicate a sequel?
Some fans have speculated that there would be a sequel, a combination of reader dissatisfaction with the final arc, Megumi being “wasted potential” as the original protagonist and the Merger still unresolved.

Jujutsu Kaisen is the hit manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami in 2018 for Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump.

Jujutsu Kaisen will end with 271 chapters and 30 volumes.
