Jujutsu Kaisen Part 2 News CLARIFIED

However, the Jujutsu Kaisen manga now joins the very top of the industry after reaching 100 million copies this year

Jujutsu Kaisen has had a strong run throughout its six years and 271 chapters in Weekly Shonen Jump.

With the final chapter approaching, some fans are left to wonder if there will be a Part 2 to the series in the same vain as Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man.

However, the announcement upon the release of Chapter 271 has confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen will NOT have a sequel and the story will fully conclude this week.

Instead, it is announced that Volumes 29 and 30, the two remaining volumes of the series, will be released together on December 25, 2024.

This is quite a Christmas gift as fans do not need to wait another few months for the final volumes.

Major Milestone

In time for the end of the manga, Jujutsu Kaisen has officially reached 100 million copies sold as of September 2024.

Jujutsu Kaisen is now among the top 25 best-selling manga of all time, alongside My Hero Academia, which has also ended recently in August of this year.

To celebrate the end of the manga, there will be merchandise goods released and the new Guidebook on October 4, 2024.

Additionally, Shueisha’s online bookstore, Zebrack Comics, has made Chapters 216 to 245 available for free until September 29, 2024

Major events to take place will include the December 2024 Stage Play and Exhibition in Osaka in 2025.

On the anime side, Jujutsu Kaisen’s Hidden Inventory Arc Compilation Movie will be released in Japan sometime in 2025.

There has been no confirmed date for the release of Season 3, however, we might get some updates during the Jump Festa this December 2024 as Jujutsu Kaisen will be on the Red Stage.
