Jujutsu Kaisen’s Long Forgotten Character Finally Returns To Land The Finishing Blow To Sukuna?!

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263 showcases Sukuna’s vulnerable state after Yuta fired his version of Gojo’s Blue and with Yuji continuously spamming Dismantle, Sukuna admits he will lose if he continues to take such hits. He was literally about to puke out blood but gulped it in after figuring out that if he simply avoided those blows, they’d have no other moves as effective!

Things looked like they were going his way but suddenly, we see Hana Kurusu, whose body was possessed by the Angel, floating above Sukuna, much to everyone’s shock.

It seems Yuta requested Hana to fire Jacob’s Ladder as the finishing blow as an all-or-nothing gamble once more and attempt to split Sukuna and Megumi’s souls, despite Hana saying her job was done after unsealing Gojo.

But this wasn’t the first time Hana used it, though.

The Angel and Hana Kurusu used Jacob’s Ladder in an attempt to strip Sukuna from Megumi Fushiguro’s body in Chapter 213. The light seriously injured Sukuna, and the cursed energy was pulled from Megumi’s body. However, Hana was too desperate to get Megumi back but Sukuna tricked her by impersonating Megumi inside his body, catching her and Yuji off guard.

But now that Hana Kurusu knows Sukuna cannot be trusted, she won’t fall for his tricks anymore and use “Maximum Output: Jacob’s Ladder” on Sukuna strong enough to pull out Megumi.

The Angel was always confident her technique could break open the Prison Realm. Hana did just that by using Jacob’s Ladder on the “Back” of Prison Realm to destroy the cursed object and free Gojo Satoru.

This is Hana and the Angel’s chance to be useful in the team and finally put a stop to Sukuna once and for all (though I doubt this will work according to their plans). Fans were surprised that Gege hasn’t forgotten about Hana Kurusu and everyone once thought she was a fraud. But now, she’s seems to be beating those allegations and actually may rescue Megumi!

According to the manga editor, this is the team’s TRUMP CARD!
