The Kagurasweep continues as Volume 1 of the series got sold out in a bunch of online bookstores, including Yahoo Japan, Rakuten, e-Hon and Honya Club as of writing this article.

This is stunning, considering the volume is out today, on Feb 2, 2024 and it’s sold out on major platforms before it even hit the bookshelves. So, Kagurabachi isn’t just inflated by memes, Japanese fans are genuinely curious to check out what might be the next big thing for Shonen Jump.
According to the official Twitter handle of Kinokuniya Bookstore Shinjuku Main Store, Kagurabachi is by far the most recommended manga of the year. Even My Hero Academia’s author, Kohei Horikoshi, praised the work’s composting and coolness, thereby recommending it to MHA fans.
The manga had the JUMP staff in charge in a frenzy from the very first volume. Which means Chihiro Rokuhira and his quest for revenge aren’t getting anywhere and are here to stay at Weekly Shonen Jump for a long time.
