Luffy To Join Goku To Float Around New York City In The 2023 Thanksgiving Day Parade
The Luffy Ballon will measure 43 feet long, 39 feet wide, and 50 feet tall.
Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece continues its epic adventures this year. The first was the completion of 1000+ episodes.
Then came the success of its live-action adaptation, and now the future King of the Pirates has arrived in New York.
On Friday, Toei Animation announced that a balloon of Monkey D. Luffy will be part of the 97th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!
Along with Luffy, Goku will also be part of the parade. Although this is Luffy’s first time in the parade, Goku was chosen as part of the parade in 2018.
The Luffy Ballon will measure 43 feet long, 39 feet wide, and 50 feet tall and follow the parade route from Central Park West to Herald Square.
A merry crew of pirate-themed marchers will also join the beloved captain of Strawhats!

During New Yorn Comic Com, Toei Animation’s One Piece Booth will also feature an exlusive 3D scale model of Luffy’s balloon.
Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is the world’s largest parade, held annually in Manhattan, New York City.
The parade has increased the number of Japanese pop culture icons in its parade in recent years.
These icons include Goku, Sonic the Hedgehog, Pikachu, and Evee.
