Mission: Yozakura Family Ends On January 2025

On January 16, 2025, it has announced that Mission: Yozakura Family will end its run next week with the upcoming chapter.

After a 5 and a half year run, Mission: Yozakura Family will be ending on January 20, 2025 with Chapter 258.

This confirms that the “super climax” announced on December 27, 2024 was in anticipation for the final chapter itself.

Additionally, the final two volumes 28 and 29 will be released on February 4 and March 4, 2025.

The manga by Hitsuji Gondaira has been going on since August 26, 2019 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, reaching 27 volumes.

As of writing, Mission: Yozakura Family has sold over 3 million copies.

Mission: Yozakura Family would be adapted into an anime by Silver Link (Bofuri, My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead To Doom!) that reached 27 episodes, airing from April 7 to October 6, 2024.

A second season will air in 2026.

The story is set in a world of spies and assassins where the protagonist, Taiyo Asano, a boy who lost his family in a car crash, ends up becoming the husband of his childhood friend, Mutsumi Yozakura, a spy, and ends up becoming a spy himself.
