On December 27, 2024, it is announced that Mission: Yozakura Family will be entering its “Super Climax” on January 20, 2025
“Mission Yozakura Family” by Hitsuji Gondaira is reaching its Story Climax in the upcoming Weekly Shonen Jump issue 7/8 (2025) out January 20, 2025. Color page too.
The series has 3 million copies in circulation for vols 1-27.

A “super climax” refers to the start of the final phase in the manga, rather than the last 5 chapters or even the final arc.
The manga by Hitsuji Gondaira has been going on since August 26, 2019 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, reaching 27 volumes.
As of writing, Mission: Yozakura Family has sold over 3 million copies.
Mission: Yozakura Family would be adapted into an anime by Silver Link (Bofuri, My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead To Doom!) that reached 27 episodes, airing from April 7 to October 6, 2024.
A second season will air in 2026.
The story is set in a world of spies and assassins where the protagonist, Taiyo Asano, a boy who lost his family in a car crash, ends up becoming the husband of his childhood friend, Mutsumi Yozakura, a spy, and ends up becoming a spy himself.
