One Piece Anime Releases Luffy’s Gear5 Trailer
The Gear5 episode will air on August 6.
On July 22, the official One Piece manga YouTube channel released a promotion trailer for Luffy’s transformation into Gear5.
The specific episode will air on August 6, and to hype up the fans, a teaser for the episode was released on One Piece Day.
Tatsuya Nagamine, who worked on Dragon Ball Super: Broly, will be directing the episode. Midori Matsuda and Keita Saito will work as animation directors for the episode.
Luffy’s peak power will be revealed in episode 1071 of the One Piece TV anime. Crunchyroll will also stream the episode on their platform.

Eiichiro Oda started the serialization of the manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine on July 19, 1997.
On March 3, 2023, the latest volume, volume 105, was published, and the next volume will publish on July 6.
