One Piece Anime Reveals New Opening and Ending and Back to Back Episodes
One Piece fans will be feasting with a full week of content beginning April 1, 2025.
In an unexpected twist, the One Piece anime will return with TWO consecutive episodes in two days.
Episode 1123 will premiere on April 5, 2025 (Saturday) to air after an 83-minute Egghead Arc Part-1 Recap Special episode while Episode 1124 will be released on April 6, 2025 (Sunday).
This was hyped up to be the special announcement teased by JUMP last March 20, 2025.
New Opening and Ending Theme
For Egghead Part 2, there will be a new opening and ending song by GRe4n BOYZ & muque respectively to replace Opening 26: “UUUUUS!” by Hiroshi Kitadani (We Are, We Go, We Can, Over the Top), and Ending 20: “Dear sunrise” by Maki Otsuki.
Special Manga Cover Page
To celebrate the return of the One Piece anime, author Eiichiro Oda will will draw a special cover for Weekly Shonen Jump on April 7.
With this news, it is also confirmed that there will be a One Piece chapter (1145) on that day.
Additionally, there is no announcement about a One Piece movie.
However, airing alongside the One Piece anime’s return is a short anime spinoff, “Koisuru One Piece” beginning April 1, 2025.
Together with the two consecutive anime episodes and the manga chapter, One Piece fans will be receiving One Piece content for a full week from April 1 to April 7.
