To celebrate, One Piece released a new illustration showing Luffy and the number 10,000 on a red background.
One Piece is currently the 20th longest-running manga in terms of volume count at 110 and the 13th longest running one that is still ongoing.
It is also noted that due to Eiichiro Oda’s monthly breaks, taking into account his more recent long breaks, he averages 1 chapter for every 8.8 days.
Oda has taken total 179 breaks throughout the 27 years of publication.
