The trailer shows Luffy’s iconic Straw Hat in LEGO form as the main theme for the One Piece Netflix live-action plays in the background.
To commemorate the collaboration, One Piece author Eiichiro Oda wrote the following message

The LEGO sets will be based on the adventures of the East Blue Saga that have already been adapted by the Netflix series.
LEGO stated, “These sets will feature the main crew as seen in the show for the first time in Lego Minifigure form, transporting fans into the heart of the action featuring settings and scenes pulled straight from the screen.”
With only a “coming soon” as a hint, there has been no confirmed release date but the “collection” will be revealed in February.
Of note, the One Piece manga did somewhat reference LEGOs in the cover of Chapter 622: “The Sun Pirates”.
One Piece is a manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda in 1997 for Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine, reaching over 516 million copies to become the world’s best-selling manga series of all time.
The live-action adaptation of the series by Netflix was originally released on August 31, 2023.
