Oshi No Ko Author Announces NEW Series
Immediately after concluding Oshi no Ko, Aka Akasaka will work with Record of Ragnarok’s illustrator on a new project
Finishing up one story, Oshi no Ko’s author begins a new chapter of his career.
Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama, Oshi no Ko) will start a NEW MANGA SERIES with art by Aji Chika (Record of Ragnarok) in Spring 2025 in Weekly Young Jump magazine! Series Composition by Aoi Kujira.

Aka Akasaka, author of “Kaguya-sama: Love is War” and the recently-concluded “Oshi no Ko” will start a new manga series scheduled to start in Spring 2025 in Weekly Young Jump magazine.
Artwork will be done by Ajichika (artist for Record of Ragnarok)
Series Composition will be by Aoi Kujira.
Synopsis is as follows:
“In a fairy-tale world, there are always princesses and princes guided by fate…”
The ending of Oshi no Ko became quite controversial due to not moving forward with its core themes and has been labelled by some fans as among the worst endings of 2024 alongside Jujutsu Kaisen.

Oshi no Ko Volume 16 will be released on December 18, 2024.
