Overwatch 2 X Cowboy Bebop Collab Set To Go Live On March 12
On Mar 7, 2024, Overwatch 2’s collab with One Punch Man also went live, which is the gaming franchise’s first major crossover.
Overwatch’s official YouTube channel uploaded a video on Mar 7, 2024, officially announcing Overwatch 2’s collab with the iconic anime franchise, Cowboy Bebop. The collab is set to go live on all platforms on Mar 12, 2024, where players will get access to Cowboy Bebop themed skins, emotes, intros, and more!
The unlockable legendary skins include Spike Spiegel as Cassidy, Faye Valentine as Ashe, Jet Black as Mauga, Ed as Sombra, while the adorable corgi Ein gets a Wreckingball skin.
Cassidy’s gun is modeled after Spike’s iconic Swordfish ship. Ashe’s Faye skin transforms her robot companion (and ultimate ability) B.O.B. into Faye’s ship, the Redtail. The Ein skin will be accessible to all individuals as a complimentary unlock, and all skins will be unveiled on March 11, immediately preceding the in-game release.
